Deploying the International Retail Site (Retail2002)

The International Retail Site (Retail2002) has no hardware requirements beyond those of Commerce Server 2002. However, the software requirements are slightly different. For information about hardware requirements for Commerce Server 2002, see the Commerce Server 2002 Installation Guide. The International Retail Site is a functional example of a site created by using .NET and Commerce Server 2002 technologies. It is a sample site only and was not tested or intended to be production grade. Instead, it is recommended that you use Microsoft Solution for Internet Business (MSIB) version 2.0 to build your .NET site.

MSIB is an integrated solution that is built by using Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers to provide end-to-end processes and features for sophisticated Internet sites. It is tested and intended for production. For more information about MSIB, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=20192.
