Configuring enterprise search includes the following tasks:

• Create and configure a new Search service application (SharePoint Server 2010). Create and configure a Search service application as part of a new deployment of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 or as needed.
  
  
• Create a Search Center site (SharePoint Server 2010). Create a Search Center site for users to use when searching.
