Excel Services Application is included in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Office Web Apps installed on Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010. When you install Office Web Apps on SharePoint Server 2010, the Microsoft Excel Web App will use Excel Services Application in SharePoint Server 2010. Excel Services Application is a shared service that you can use to view and edit Excel workbooks.
