User Issues when Renewing a Smart Card Certificate

The smart card certificates were renewed, but users are not able to use their smart cards to log on to their computers offline.

The smart card certificates may have been renewed with a different certification authority (CA) or different key. The renewed certificate data is not cached on the client computer.

Users must log on to the domain at least once to refresh the offline smart card logon cache.
