This setting determines how Windows key combinations are applied when you are connected to a remote computer by using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC).

This setting corresponds to the selection in the Keyboard drop-down list on the Local Resources tab under Options in RDC.

keyboardhook:i:<value>

 

Value Explanation

0

Windows key combinations are applied on the local computer (On this computer).

1

Windows key combinations are applied on the remote computer (On the remote computer).

2

Windows key combinations are applied in full-screen mode only (Only when using the full screen).

The default value is 2.

To configure Windows key combinations to be applied on the remote computer, type:

keyboardhook:i:1
