Negotiate security layer

This setting determines whether or not RDP negotiates the security layer.

negotiate security layer:i:<value>


Value Explanation


Security layer negotiation is not enabled and the session is started by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).


Security layer negotiation is enabled and the session is started by using x.224 encryption.

The default value is 1.

To disable security layer negotiation, type:

negotiate security layer:i:0
