How to Work with Reports

Applies To: Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization 1.0, Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization 1.0 SP1

The following functions can be used to work with MED-V reports:

Report results can be sorted by any column by clicking the appropriate column name.

The report results can be grouped by dragging a column header to the top of the report. Drag multiple column headers to group one column after another.

To refresh an existing report

  1. Select the report to refresh.

  2. On the management toolbar, click Refresh.

    The report is regenerated.

To edit report parameters

  1. Generate a report.

  2. On the management toolbar, click Edit report.

    The Report Parameters dialog box appears.

  3. In the Report Parameters dialog box, configure the parameters, and click OK.

    The report is regenerated with the new parameters.

To export a report to Microsoft Excel

  1. Generate a report.

  2. On the management toolbar, click Export to Excel.

  3. In the Save Report dialog box, enter a name, and click Save.

    The report is exported to Microsoft Excel.

To close a report

  1. Select the report to close.

  2. On the management toolbar, click Close report.

    The report closes.
