Describes actions that you can take when a front-end computer is unable to reach an Excel, PowerPoint, or Word back end computer.

Events 2015 2016 2026 5255 5256 - Excel back end memory issues

Describes actions that you can take when Excel memory allocation errors, memory configuration errors, disk cache errors, or internal errors are found.

Event 8115 - Host end point is unreachable

Describes actions that you can take when the end point on the server that is hosting the file that is specified in the initiating request does not respond to a request for file information from the client computer.

Event 8116 - Host end point was disallowed

Describes actions that you can take when the domain of the end point on the server that is hosting the file that is specified in the initiating request is not on the list of allowed domains for this farm.

Event 8117 - Farm OU is too large

Describes actions that you can take when the Organizational Unit (OU) can’t be greater than the prescribed size. The farm may be currently sharing the OU with other processes.

Event 8119 - Farm settings are invalid

Describes actions that you can take when the farm settings, the farm topology, or both may be corrupt.

Word, PowerPoint, OneNote slow or viewing failures

Describes actions that you can take when Word, PowerPoint, or OneNote are performing poorly because there aren't enough server computers or hardware, or if there is bad hardware.
