Summary: Synchronizing data between Microsoft SharePoint Server and the directory failed.
Symptoms: One or more of the following events appear in the event log: Event ID: 6000-6099. For the description, see the event details.
Cause: These failures indicate that the User Profile Synchronization service was configured incorrectly or that corrupted data is being synchronized from SharePoint Server 2010 — for example, a required attribute such as an account name is missing.
Resolution: Verify the User Profile Synchronization service credentials
On the Central Administration Home page, click Application Management, and in the Service Applications section, click Manage service applications.
On the Service Applications page, click the User Profile service application.
On the User Profile Service page, in the Synchronization section, click Configure Synchronization Connections.
Right click the connection, and then click Edit Connection.
Verify that the credentials and rights containers are provided in the connection. Verify that the credentials have sufficient permissions to read and write data in the directory, and also ensure that the User Profile Synchronization service is targeting the correct organizational units in the directory.
