One type of workflow that you can create by using Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 is a site workflow. This type of workflow is not attached to a list or library but rather to a site itself. This video illustrates how to accomplish that. In addition, you will also see how to use InfoPath Forms Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 to modify the user interface form that this workflow creates.
