Issue

Files are stored in paths that are longer than 240 characters. The following log file lists the paths that are too long: {0}

Impact

File Server Resource Manager will not classify or manage files with paths longer than 240 characters.

Resolution

Shorten the names of folders in the directory structure or reorganize the folders to make the structure shallower.

For example, to reduce the length of the path you could move the folder so that it has a shorter path or you could shorten the file name.
