Issue

DFS Replication cleaned up the staging folder for the replicated folder more than once in the last 24 hours. This can occur if the quota for the staging folder is too small.

Impact

Replication performance might decrease if DFS Replication needs to clean up the staging folder frequently.

Resolution

Use DFS Management to increase the quota size of the staging folder for the replicated folder.

To increase the quota size of the staging folder, see Edit the Quota Size of the Staging Folder and Conflict and Deleted Folder (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=186944).

Note

To manage a replicated folder, you must be a member of the Domain Admins group in the domain in which the replication group is configured, the creator of the replication group, or have been delegated permissions.
