This information is for administrators who have installed Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) on Windows Server® 2008 R2, and who want information about configuration steps or other preparations that must be completed before they can run a Best Practices Analyzer (BPA) scan on WSUS for the first time.
BPA prerequisite rules are applied to identify gaps in WSUS configuration or missing roles, role services, or features that must be installed on the computer before administrators can run a Best Practices Analyzer scan on WSUS for the first time.
