Toggles wildcard expansion of local file names. For examples of how this command can be used, see Examples.

  • By default, globbing is on.

  • Globbing permits the use of the asterisk (*) and question mark (?) as wildcard characters in local file or path names.

Toggle wildcard expansion of local file names.
