Accessibility Features and Options

This User's Guide includes features that make its software accessible to a wider range of users, including those who have limited dexterity, low vision, or other disabilities.

Some of the content in this topic may not be applicable to some languages.

Keyboard Shortcuts in Help

 

ALT+C

To switch to the Contents tab

ALT+F4

To close the Help window

ALT+I

To switch to the Favorites tab

ALT+N

To switch to the Index tab

ALT+O

To display the Options menu

ALT+O, and then press B

To display the previously viewed topic

ALT+O, and then press F

To display the next topic in a previously displayed sequence of topics

ALT+O, and then press H

To return to the specified home page

ALT+O, and then press I

To open the Internet Options dialog box for Microsoft® Internet Explorer®, where you can change accessibility settings

ALT+O, and then press O

To turn search highlighting on or off

Size and Format Options

You can use your own style sheet to customize the formatting of your HTML pages. This change will apply to Internet Explorer and to any HTML document that you view with Internet Explorer.

To use your own style sheet

  1. Create a style sheet (.css file) that specifies your customized styles, fonts, and formats.

  2. In the .chm file, click Options, and then click Internet Options.

  3. On the General tab, click Accessibility.

  4. Select the Format documents using my style sheet check box.

  5. Click Browse and browse to the location of your style sheet.

  6. Double-click the name of the style sheet, and then click OK.
