The UDDI server role has been removed in Windows Server® 2008 R2. For more information about Microsoft UDDI Services, see the Microsoft UDDI Services website.

UDDI-Setup specifies details about the initial configuration of the Web server and the Microsoft® SQL Server® database.

Universal Description Discovery and Integration (UDDI) provides developers and administrators with a standards-based method to easily share information about services, service providers, binding information, and technical interface definitions across the enterprise and public services on the Internet. This information is classified by a set of standard or customized classification schemes.

 

CoreFiles1Path

Specifies the path for core database files.

DatabaseLocation

Specifies the location of the SQL Server database.

InstanceName

Specifies the name of the SQL Server instance.

JournalFilePath

Specifies the path for the database journal file.

RegisterSite

Enables Register UDDI services with Active Directory and UDDI.

RequireSSL

Specifies whether to require SSL encryption for publishing to the UDDI database.

SiteName

Specifies the name of the UDDI site.

SitePassword

Specifies the password for the user name under which the UDDI application pool will run.

SiteUsername

Specifies the user name under which the UDDI application pool will run.

StagingPath

Specifies the path for the database staging file.

SystemPath

Specifies the path for the database system file.

TransactionLogPath

Specifies the path for the database transaction log file.

This component has been deprecated in Windows® 7 and Windows Server® 2008 R2.

This element is available in the following editions and architectures in Windows Vista® and Windows Server® 2008.
