Windows PowerShell Holiday Gift Guide

It’s the end of the year, which, for many people in many cultures, means a time for giving and, with any luck, receiving gifts. Of course, those of you with Windows PowerShell aficionados on their gift list may have already written off the holiday season, assuming that, now that the CTP release of Windows PowerShell 2.0 has hit the streets, there are no PowerShell-related gifts left to give anyone. Is that how you feel? Then you owe it to yourself to keep reading as the Scripting Guys present their first-ever Windows PowerShell Holiday Gift Guide. In this inaugural gift guide we survey some of the best PowerShell software, script editors, cmdlets, and add-ins that money can buy.

Or, even better, that you can often download for free. After all, it is the thought that counts, not the price tag.

For more information about PowerShell tools and resources check out our new PowerShell Toolbox page. We hope you find this year’s gift guide useful; if so, let us know and we’ll be sure and put together another one next year. Oh, and when you put together your gift list for this year, keep in mind that Scripting Guy Jean Ross usually takes a small or extra-small, and Scripting Guy Greg Stemp usually takes a medium. (Although for T-shirts and sweatshirts he likes a large.) Thanks!
