Web application cmdlets (SharePoint Server 2010)

You can use Windows PowerShell cmdlets to administer Web applications in a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 farm.

 

Cmdlet name Description

Get-SPAlternateURL

Returns all alternate URLs that match a given set of criteria.

Get-SPMobileMessagingAccount

Retrieves mobile messaging accounts for the specified Web application.

Install-SPApplicationContent

Copies shared application data to existing Web application folders.

New-SPAlternateUrl

Creates a new public or internal URL for the specified Web application zone or resource.

Remove-SPAlternateUrl

Completely deletes the specified alternate URL.

Set-SPAlternateUrl

Configures the specified alternate URL.

Set-SPMobileMessagingAccount

Configures the specified mobile messaging account.
