Exchange 2007 SP3 improves distribution list (DL) expansion and message delivery performance.
Additionally, Exchange 2007 SP3 includes fixes for the following issues:
Most management tasks cannot be performed by using the Submission queue. This included Export-Message and Remove-Message.
The following error message may be received when you use the Italian version of the spelling checker on a message in Outlook Web Access in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 environment: "Outlook Web Access encountered an unexpected error and was unable to handle your request."
The Setup prerequisites check may fail when you try to upgrade to Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) on a clustered mailbox server.
The memory footprint that is used by the File Distribution Service (FDS) on the Client Access Server increases because of the presence of many offline address books (OAB).
In Auto Attendant, the caller has to enter all the digits within 10 seconds and cannot pause more than three seconds between digits. This can cause problems when the extensions are long (for example, 10 digits). The time-out is increased to address this issue.
In Microsoft Office Outlook and in Microsoft Office Word, Arabic text is left-aligned and is only partially right-to-left rendered. When this occurs, certain parts of the sentence may look correct, and other parts appear to be randomly ordered.
Indexing of the messaging database (MDB) is blocked because of corruption of the full-text search index catalog after a power outage. If this occurs, users cannot search for some email messages.
Additionally, Exchange 2007 SP3 fixes the issue that is documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 973299, The contact name appears incorrectly in an Exchange Server 2007 environment if you set the language to Spanish in OWA.
