Reports from the SAP system can only be routed to sites that are associated with the Intranet zone of a Web application that is configured to use Windows claims-based authentication. Reports cannot be routed to sites that use forms-based authentication. |
Enable the Reporting solution
Use this procedure to enable a Web application to receive reports. This procedure configures the Reporting solution on the Web application that you specify.
To configure the Reporting solution
-
You must be a member of the SharePoint Server 2010 farm administrators group to complete this procedure.
-
In a Command Prompt window, type, DuetConfig /configuresolution "Reporting" /webappurl "http:// FullyQualifiedDomainName:port "
where FullyQualifiedDomainName:port is the fully qualified domain name and port number for the Web application that will receive reports.
-
Press Enter.
Tip:
The name of the BDC model “Reporting” is case-sensitive.
-
When successfully created, the Command Prompt window displays the following:
"Solution successfully configured."
Note:
If the Alternate Access Mapping is modified for the Reporting site, you must extend the web application. Otherwise the Reporting site URL will fail.
