DPM could not reserve the drive resource because one of required drive resources is not online or it needs cleaning or servicing.

User Action

To resolve this error, do the following:

  1. View and resolve all alerts for the library and its drive(s). After resolving the alerts, retry the operation.

  2. In the Management task area, click the Libraries tab, and then, in the Actions pane, click Rescan. After the rescan operation has completed successfully, retry the operation.
