First Time Log on to the FOPE Administration Center

The first step you need to complete when you set up and provision Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE) is logging on to the FOPE Administration Center. Before you begin, ensure that you understand the prerequisites for FOPE setup and provisioning, detailed in FOPE Setup and Provisioning.

To log on to the Administration Center for the first time
  1. Go to the FOPE Sign In page: http://admin.messaging.microsoft.com

  2. Click Need your password?

  3. In the User name text box, enter the email address you used when you signed up for the FOPE service, and click Send.

  4. The email address you entered will receive an email containing a link. Click the link in order to be directed to a page where you can set your password.

  5. Enter your password in the text boxes and click Submit.

NoteNote:
You can attempt to login to the FOPE Administration Center five times with an incorrect password before you are locked out. You can reset your password by clicking the Change password link on the login page.
