In Microsoft Project Web App, time reporting periods define the start dates and the end dates used for each timesheet and task status report. You can create several time reporting periods in bulk to set them up, and then insert or delete individual periods, as necessary. For example, you can create several time reporting periods for a whole fiscal year, and then modify those periods, as needed, to meet the individual needs of your organization.
