Configuring Supervisory Relationships and Sampling

You can manage supervisory relationships and the sampling settings for the relationships in the Administration Center.

To add a relationship
  1. In the Administration Center, click the Administration tab, and then click the Users tab.

  2. Click the user account primary email for the user who you want to assign as a supervisor.

  3. In the Tasks pane, click Manage User Relationships.

  4. In the Actions pane, click Add Relationship.

  5. In the Search Users field, enter a search query and click Search. EHA sorts the search results alphabetically by primary email address and displays them in the Users field.

  6. Select the check box next to the users you want to add to the relationship, and then click Add. The users appear in the Candidates field.

  7. Click Save in the Action pane.

To assign sampling settings for a supervisory relationship
  1. In the Administration Center, click the Administration tab, and then click the Users tab.

  2. Click the user account for the supervisor.

  3. In the Tasks pane, click Manage User Relationships.

  4. Select the check box next to the subordinates for which you want to set sampling settings, and then click Edit Relationship in the Actions pane.

  5. In the Edit Relationship pane, select Yes for Needs Review. If the user also needs NASD 3010 review, select Yes for Needs 3010 Review.

  6. In the Keyword List section, select the checkboxes next to the keyword lists you want to apply to this supervisory relationship.

  7. In the Sampling Percentage section, set the sampling percentage for each type of message. For example, if you want to sample 15 percent of external email messages, type 15 in the External e-mail box.

  8. Click Save.
