Removing an A/V Conferencing Server or Pool

To remove an A/V Conferencing pool or A/V Conferencing service, you must remove the definition of the associated Front End pool or pools from the A/V Conferencing pool or A/V Conferencing Server. The topics in this section describe the procedures you need to perform to remove an A/V Conferencing pool or A/V Conferencing service.

Removing A/V conferencing completely from your Lync Server 2010 deployment is not a trivial matter and it is not common to perform this type of removal. You can have a Lync Server 2010 deployment without A/V conferencing, but if you do this the following features will not be available:

  • Audio/Video Conferencing

  • Application Sharing

  • Web Conferencing

  • Conferencing Announcement application

  • Conferencing Attendant application
