Select the Contents of the Package Page (Export Package)

Use the Select the Contents of the Package page of the Export Application Package Wizard to view the components that are included in the package that you want to create.

Packages can contain components such as the registry settings, COM, GAC assemblies, or certificates. To install these components on your server, you must be a member of the Administrators group, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. You do not need administrator user rights to install only content.

Package contains

Lists the components that are included in your package. You can specify what you want to include in your package by selecting or clearing the appropriate component check boxes. For example, you can include or exclude a SQL database or GAC assembly by selecting or clearing the corresponding check box.

Caution
Some components may be required by the application. If you clear the check boxes for these components, the application may not function correctly after installation.

Attributes

Displays, in the right pane, the attributes of the selected file, directory, or component. If an HTML file is selected, the contents of the file are viewable in a scrollable and resizable preview window at the bottom. The values in the attributes pane are read-only.

Manage Componentsā€¦

Opens the Manage Components dialog box. This lets you select the components that you want to include. For more information, see Manage Components Dialog Box.

Advanced Settingsā€¦

Opens the Advanced Settings dialog box. This lets you specify operation settings and rules. For more information, see Advanced Settings Dialog Box (Export).
