Viewing Information in the Operations Console

The Monitoring Pack for Windows Azure Applications defines the following views which are displayed in the Monitoring workspace:

  • Deployment State View - shows the state of all deployments

  • Hosted Service State View – shows the state of all hosted services

  • Role State View – shows the state of all roles

  • Role Instance State View – shows state of all role instances

  • Active Alerts View – shows all active alerts for Windows Azure

  • Performance views – shows the following for all role instances

    • ASP.NET performance

    • Disk Capacity

    • Memory Utilization (Physical)

    • Network Adapter Utilization

    • Processor Performance

    • Role Instance Performance (All counters)
