Applies To: Dynamics CRM 2013

Much of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is backward compatible with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and for the most part, applications that use legacy APIs will continue to work. New features have been added and significant improvements have been made in existing code. This section contains information that you need to know to upgrade your code to the latest version. If you have existing customers that use your custom code, you will also need to migrate your customers to your new solutions.

For more information about development for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, see the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 SDK.
