RecurringAppointmentMaster entity messages and methods

A recurring appointment master contains the master appointment of a recurring appointment series.

The schema name for this entity is RecurringAppointmentMaster. To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.

The following table describes the messages for this entity, which you use with the IOrganizationService.Execute method.

AddRecurrenceRequest

Adds recurrence information to an existing appointment to make it a recurring appointment master.

AssignRequest

Assigns a recurring appointment master to another user or team.

BookRequest

Schedules or books a recurring appointment master.

CreateExceptionRequest

Creates an exception for the recurring appointment instance.

CreateRequest

Creates a recurring appointment master. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Create method.

CreateInstanceRequest

Creates an instance of a recurring appointment master.

DeleteRequest

Deletes a recurring appointment master. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Delete method.

DeleteOpenInstancesRequest

Use this message to delete instances of a recurring appointment master that have an Open state.

GrantAccessRequest

Shares a recurring appointment master with another security principal (user or team).

ModifyAccessRequest

Changes the access rights for a recurring appointment master previously shared with another security principal (user or team).

RescheduleRequest

Reschedules a recurring appointment master.

RetrieveRequest

Retrieves a recurring appointment master. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Retrieve method.

RetrieveMultipleRequest

Retrieves a collection of recurring appointment masters. You can also call the IOrganizationService.RetrieveMultiple method.

RetrievePrincipalAccessRequest

Retrieves the access the specified security principal (user or team) has to a recurring appointment master.

RetrieveSharedPrincipalsAndAccessRequest

Retrieves the security principals (users or teams) that have access to a recurring appointment master, and their access rights to the recurring appointment master.

RevokeAccessRequest

Removes all access to a recurring appointment master for the specified security principal (user or team).

SetStateRequest

Sets the state of a recurring appointment master. The possible values for this attribute are defined in the RecurringAppointmentMaster.State attribute. If you are using early bound types, you can use the RecurringAppointmentMasterState enumeration. You can find this information in the metadata for your organization. See the preceding metadata browser information.

UpdateRequest

Updates a recurring appointment master. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Update method.
