On-premises conferencing in Microsoft Lync Server 2010 includes two major capabilities:

• Web conferencing, which enables users to view, share and collaborate on documents online, and share their applications and desktops with each other.

• A/V conferencing, which enables users to communicate online with real-time audio and video.
