Adding Server Roles
Lync Server 2010

After you have your initial deployment up and running, you can add additional server roles for Microsoft Lync Server 2010, such as a Director, a stand-alone A/V Conferencing Server (Enterprise Edition only), and a stand-alone Mediation Server.
