Delete a PivotTable or PivotChart Report

You can delete a PivotTable or PivotChart report from a PowerPivot workbook. Deleting the PivotTable or PivotChart does not delete the underlying data or any measures that you may have created. 

To delete a PivotTable report

  1. In the Excel window, click anywhere inside the PivotTable report.

  2. Under Pivot Table Tools, on the Options tab, in the Actions group, click Select, and then click Entire PivotTable.

  3. Press the Delete key.

To delete a PivotChart report

  1. In the Excel window, click the PivotChart report.

  2. Press the Delete key.

    Note Note

    Deleting the PivotChart report does not automatically delete the associated PivotTable report.
