Print File

The Print File object prints text files to a printer that you specify. You can use the Print File object to print log files for paper filing before the data is moved or deleted from a server.
Configuring the Print File Object
To configure the Print File object you need to know the name of the file you are printing and the name of the printer that will print the file.
To configure the object

From the Objects pane, drag a Print File object to the active Policy.

Double-click the Print File object icon. The Properties dialog opens.

Details Tab

Computer |
Type the name of the computer that you are checking. You can also use the ellipsis ( ... ) button to browse for the computer. |

Age |
Specify is less than or is greater than to print the files that are older or newer, respectively, than the number of days that you specify. |
