Frequent Tasks and Community Links

This section of the Windows SBS Console Home page displays the list of tasks that you perform most frequently on your server and a list of community links that you can use as an information resource.

Frequent tasks

Task Name Description

Add a new user account

Starts the Add a New User Account Wizard to help you add a new user account to the network.

Add a new group

Starts the Add a New Group Wizard that you can use to add a new group to the network.

Add a new shared folder

Starts the Provision a Shared Folder Wizard that you can use to add a shared folder to the network.

Add a new report

Opens the New Report Properties dialog box that you can use to create a new report.

Open the Welcome Center in the Windows SBS 2011 Standard Help.

Opens the Welcome Center in the Help, where you can find links to the Windows SBS 2011 Standard technical library and other resources.

Configure server backup

Starts the Configure Server Backup Wizard.

Go to Updates

Opens the Updates tab in the Windows SBS Console.

Go to Computers

Opens the Computers tab in the Windows SBS Console.
