Forefront Endpoint Protection (FEP) generates events to the Event Viewer, where system administrators can view them for general information. This section provides the following information about FEP events and errors:

  • The text of the message as it appears in the event or error message.

  • The name of the source of the message.

  • The symbolic name that identifies each message in the programming source code.

  • Additional information about the message.
