The title of this white paper refers to Commissioner Gordon’s liberal use of the “Bat Phone” whenever the City of Gotham was in dire straits (from the 1970’s Batman TV series). Author Chris Vandersluis relates that fictional story to how, during an EPM implementation, we at some time might wish we had access to the Bat Phone when we are in trouble. Vandersluis then discusses many ways to avoid getting into trouble during the implementation. This white paper is one in a series that is written by Vandersluis, who is the president and founder of HMS Software, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
