Device Configuration

You can use Device Manager 2011 to perform the following configuration tasks on devices optimized for management with Device Manager 2011:
- Use the Configuration Manager console to create configuration items and configuration packages.
- Use advertisements to send notifications to the collection of devices specifying that a program, software update deployment, or task sequence is available.
