Collections and Inventory

Device Manager 2011 adds functionality to Configuration Manager console that extends the Configuration Manager collections and device hardware inventory. To extend collections, predefined and dynamically generated collections are added that differentiate devices from traditional computers. To extend hardware inventory, Device Manager 2011 adds Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) classes and class attributes, registry keys, and other customizations.
