Injury and illness (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Workers > Injury and illness.

Use this form to set up injury and illness information, such as types of injuries and illnesses, body parts, types of outcome and costs, and reporting agencies. On the left side of the form, select the type of information to set up. On the right side of the form, enter the type, level, or reporting agency, and also a corresponding description.

Description

Injury or illness types

Maintain the list of injury or illness types that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form.

Note

(USA, CAN) This control is available only to legal entities whose primary address is in the United States or Canada. Default injury or illness types are provided only to legal entities whose primary address is in the United States or Canada.

Body parts

Maintain the list of body parts that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form. For example, you could enter L Arm as a body part and enter Left arm for the description.

Treatment types

Maintain the list of treatment types that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form. For example, you could enter Ice pack as a treatment type and enter Ice pack applied to injury for the description.

Cost types

Maintain the list of cost types that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form.

Note

(USA, CAN) Default cost types are available only when the United States country/region configuration key or the United States and Canada country/region configuration key is selected.

Outcome types

Maintain the list of outcome types that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form. The default outcome type Death is available for all installations.

(USA, CAN) Other default outcome types are available only when the United States country/region configuration key or the United States and Canada country/region configuration key is selected.

Severity levels

Maintain the list of severity levels that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form. For example, you could use numbers to indicate severity, by using 1 to indicate the most severe injury or illness, such as death, and 10 to indicate the least severe injury or illness, such as a minor cut.

Reporting agencies

Maintain the list of reporting agencies that you can select from in the Injury or illness incidents form. For example, you could enter OSHA as a reporting agency and enter Occupational Safety and Health Administration for the description.

Select the Default check box to indicate that the selected reporting agency is the default agency that you report injury and illnesses to.
