Bulk item conversion (form)

Click Inventory management > Setup > Formula > Bulk item conversion.

Use this form to set up the information that you need in order to convert a packed formula item to a related bulk item.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
Product conversions	View a list of packed formula items and their related bulk formula items. You can select a packed item to view or edit conversion details. To add a new packed item conversion, press CTRL+N.
Example	View conversion results for a packed item to bulk item conversion based on the information that you enter on the Product conversions tab.

Button	Description
Calculator for units	Open the Bulk item conversion calculator to run a calculation if you want to confirm that the conversion factors you entered generate the results that you expect.

Field	Description
Packed product	View or select the item number for the packed product that will be used in the conversion.
Factor	The factor to use to convert the bulk item to the packed item.
Numerator	The numerator value in the equation that is used to calculate the conversion from bulk product to packed product.
Denominator	The denominator value in the equation that is used to calculate the conversion from bulk product to packed product.
Packed unit	The unit of measure for the packed product.
Bulk item	View or select the item number for the bulk product used in the conversion. This item is used in the production of the related packed product.
Bulk unit	The inventory units of measure for the bulk product.
Rounding	View or select the rounding method to use in the calculation.
