Delivery schedule - Sales quotation (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales quotations > All quotations. Click Sales quotation or double-click a sales quotation. In the Lines pane, click Add line or select an order line, and then click Sales quotation line > Delivery schedule.

Use this form to create delivery schedules for sales quotation order lines.

Determine the dates that will match the requirements for delivery.

Fields

Field

Description

Item number

The unique number of the ordered item that has a delivery schedule attached to it.

Sales category

The product category that is selected from the sales category hierarchy.

Total quantity

The total quantity of goods handled in this delivery schedule.

Remaining quantity

The difference between the total quantity and the aggregated quantity of the delivery lines entered.

Quantity

The delivery line quantity, which indicates how much will be delivered with each delivery line.

Requested receipt date

The date that the customer wants to receive the goods.

Requested ship date

The date that the customer wants the goods to be shipped.

Delivery date control

Select how to verify and calculate the ship date and receipt date automatically, based on choice of receipt date, sales lead time, or Master planning.

Mode of delivery

Select how the goods will be delivered. For example, the mode of delivery might be by plane or ground transportation.

Copy gross amounts

Select this option to copy the charges to all lines.

Example

If a fixed charge of 100.00 is associated with an order line, and you create a delivery schedule with three delivery lines, 100.00 is copied to all of the lines. In total, an amount of 300.00 will be allocated.

Allocate to delivery lines

Select this option to divide the charge and copy the divided charge to all of the delivery lines.

Example

If a delivery schedule has three delivery lines and a fixed charge of 100.00, all of the lines will be allocated one-third of the fixed charge. Two lines will have a charge of 33.33, and one line will have a charge of 33.34. In total, an amount of 100.00 will be allocated.
