TSqlParser.ParseExpression Method (TextReader, IList<ParseError>, Int32, Int32, Int32)

Returns an expression and a list of errors by using the provided values.

Parameters

input: Type: System.IO.TextReader
The script that will be parsed.

errors: Type: System.Collections.Generic.IList<ParseError>
When this method returns, contains the list of error that occurred during parsing. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

startOffset: Type: System.Int32
The offset where the parse starts. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

startLine: Type: System.Int32
The line number where the parse starts. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

startColumn: Type: System.Int32
The column number in the line where the parse starts. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.TransactSql.ScriptDom.ScalarExpression
An expression.
