(FRA) Set up a French national item (NGP) code

You can create single-digit French national item (NGP) codes, and then set up the NGP codes for items. The NGP codes are included in the trade of goods declaration (DEB) report, and generated in the SAISUNIC 330 or INTRACOM format.

Create an NGP code

Use the NGP codes form to create an NGP code.

  1. Click Organization administration > Setup > Foreign trade > NGP codes.

  2. Click New or press CTRL+N to create an NGP code.

  3. In the NGP and Description fields, enter the NGP code and its description.

Set up an NGP code for an item

Use the Released product details form to specify an NGP code for an item. For more information, see Released product details (form).

  1. Click Product information management > Common > Released products.

  2. Select or create an item to set up the NGP details, and then click Edit. For more information, see Key tasks: Define products.

  3. In the Released product details form, on the Foreign trade FastTab, in the NGP field, select the NGP code for the item.
