Circulating cards (form)

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Circulating cards.

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Kanban rules. On the Kanban and cards Fasttab, click View cards.
Use this form to obtain an overview of all current circulating cards for all kanban rules or for a specific kanban rule. For each card, the form displays the key information for the kanban rule, and you can see whether the card is assigned to a kanban. You can create, delete, and print circulating cards. You can also assign and un-assign cards to a kanban.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

When you open the Circulating cards form from the Kanban rules form, you can access the Create cards form to create additional circulating cards. |
Delete |
Delete the selected circulating card. You can only delete cards in the following situations:

Print the selected cards. |

Card |
The identification number of the circulating card. |
Kanban |
The kanban that the circulating card is assigned to. The assignment of circulating cards is temporary. When a material handling unit that references a kanban is registered as empty, the circulating card is no longer assigned, and it can be reassigned to a new kanban. |
First plan activity |
The first activity of the referenced kanban rule. |
Last activity |
When there are multiple activities, the last activity of the referenced kanban rule. |
Receipt location |
The output location of the work cell where the products are received. |
Product selection |
The items and product dimensions for the product that is replenished by the kanban rule. |
Fixed kanban quantity |
The fixed kanban quantity of the kanban rule. |
Default quantity |
The default product quantity of the kanban rule. |
Print status |
The print status of the circulating card. The options are as follows:
