TSqlParser::ParseScalarDataType Method (TextReader, IList<ParseError>%)

Returns a scalar data type and a list of errors by using the provided text reader.

Parameters

input: Type: System.IO::TextReader
The script that will be parsed.

errors: Type: System.Collections.Generic::IList<ParseError>%
When this method returns, contains the list of error that occurred during parsing. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.TransactSql.ScriptDom::DataTypeReference
A scalar data type.
