Recall a document (Enterprise Portal)

If you want the workflow system to stop processing a document that you have submitted, use one of the following procedures to recall the document.

Recall a document when you view the document

If you are currently viewing the document you want to recall, follow these steps to recall the document.

  1. Open the document.

  2. Review the message bar for information about the document.

  3. On the message bar, click Actions > Recall. A dialog box is displayed.

  4. Enter a comment that explains your reason for stopping the workflow process for this document.

  5. Click Recall.

Recall a document when you view the Workflow history page

The Workflow history page displays the status of documents that have been submitted to the workflow system for processing. If you want the workflow system to stop processing a specific document, follow these steps to recall the document.

  1. Click Home on the top link bar, and then click Workflow history on the Quick Launch. The Workflow history page is displayed.

  2. Select the document to recall.

  3. Click Actions > View workflow details. The Workflow history details page is displayed.

  4. On the Workflow tab, click Recall.
