Product safety data sheet - Country and region (form)

Click Inventory management > Setup > Product compliance > Product safety data sheet.

Use this form to set up and maintain intervals for verifying Product safety data sheet dates and issuing expiration notifications for a country and region, if applicable. Because requirements can vary among countries and regions, you set up separate validity intervals for each one.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Country/region

View or select the identifier for the country and region, if applicable, where the product is required to comply with.

Short name

The short name for the country and region.

Validity in days

View or enter the period of time in days for which the Product safety data sheet is valid for the country and region based on the approval date of the document.

Expiry advice in days

View or enter the number of days before a Product safety data sheet expires that an alert notification of pending expiration should be issued to users. Alerts are issued during sales order entry and packing slip posting.

Note

To issue an alert, you must select the administrator user identification if in the Expiry advice interval in sales check box is selected. You select this field on the Product compliance FastTab in the Inventory and warehouse management parameters form.

No versions

Select this check box to consider versions of the product safety data sheet when the document expiry date and expiry advice date are validated.
