The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

User Action

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Perform an offline defragmentation of the database.

  2. After defragmentation is completed, create a backup of the database that is named in the event description.

  3. If repair is required, run the Exchange Server Database Utilities (Eseutil.exe) tool on the database by using the /p switch.
