PerformancePoint Services for Project Server 2010 (white paper)

In Microsoft Project Server 2010, when you create a Microsoft Project Web App (PWA) site, a Business Intelligence Center is created. The Business Intelligence Center provides a central location to create, store, and use project management reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
If you have configured reporting capabilities for Project Server and you have configured PerformancePoint Services in SharePoint, you can create and publish robust, interactive dashboards by using PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer. Your dashboards can include many report types, including scorecards, analytic charts and grids, SQL Server Reporting Services reports, Excel Services reports, and Web Page reports.

Before you begin to perform the tasks that are described in this article, make sure that your server environment is set up and configured correctly to include SharePoint Server 2010 including PerformancePoint Services and Excel Services, and Project Server 2010.
