Common Scenarios for Services

The following are some common scenarios when using services in VMM. These scenarios only apply to virtual machines that are deployed as part of service.

Deploy an instance of SQL Server to a virtual machine	Create a virtual hard disk that contains a sysprepped version (prepared instance) of SQL Server. For System Center 2012, the version must be SQL Server 2008 R2. For System Center 2012 Service Pack 1 (SP1), the version can be either SQL Server 2008 R2 or SQL Server 2012.
